Monday, December 3, 2007:

Today was my first day of research on Arthrobacter globiformis. I started by reading different websites on databases such as Gale Group, Net Trecker, and Britannica. After skimming through the websites provided by these databases, I decided to expand my horizons and go to the free web.  In this case, I used www.google.com. I found a very good site through google. The URL is http://microbewiki.kenyon.edu/index.php/Arthrobacte. It is a very easy website to search through. This website gave me the basic structure and habitat of Arthrobacter globiformis. It also provided additional information that I will be able to use later on.

Today after shcool, Grace and I went to the library to work on our research for tonight. We looked at many different websites on google.com. We didn't really find many that really gave us what we were looking for. We both are starting to get frusterated because we feel like we can't find any information on our bacteria. When we left the library, and went our seperate ways, we both hoped to find good and fact-filled websites at home. At home, I still could't find many websties. I found a couple of information on the beneficial properties, but pretty much none on the history of Arthrobacteria. The website that I used today is http://microbewiki.kenyon.edu/index.php/Arthrobacter#Genome_Structure. The small amount of history that I found was from http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=12829291&dopt=AbstractPlus

Today, I continued to research the history and beneficial properties. I really can't find any new information, but I have looked through www.google.com and other websites that I have found such as http://microbewiki.kenyon.edu/index.php/Arthrobacter#Genome_Structure.

Thurdsday, December 6, 2007:

Today Grace and I  worked in class on our website. I researched scientific and medical reasearch dealing with arthrobacter globiformis. I found some good information on the website we have been using for this project: http://microbewiki.kenyon.edu/index.php/Arthrobacter. Over the weekend, I'm planning on continuing my research and trying to find a lot more webstsites for Arthrobacter globiformis. I hope that I will be able to catch up and maybe get ahead.

Friday, December 7, 2007:

Today I continued my research on Arhtrobacter Globiformis. I added onto my knowledge and notes. I researched for about 2 hours tongiht. I looked for more information about my bacteria. I used this website: http://microbewiki.kenyon.edu/index.php/Arthrobacter#Genome_Structure . This website has been very helpful and I have gotten a lot of my information from it.

Sunday, December 9, 2007:

Today I created a word search for my bacteria. I included words that describe Arthrobacter Globifomis. It was fun making this word search and it provided interesting facts on my bacteria. I thought this would make our website more creative and fun to look at while you learn about Arthrobacter Globiformis.

Monday, December 10, 2007:

Today I continued researching on my bacteria. I couldn't find anything new about Arthrobacter Globiformis. I referred to http://microbewiki.kenyon.edu/index.php/Arthrobacter#Genome_Structure. I am getting really stressed out with this project. I am trying my hardest to look for websites and information about Arthrobacter Globiformis.

Tuesday, December 11, 2007:

Today I was working on my Pre-Lab for tommorow's experiment. Therefore, I couldn't work on my website. I plan to work hard tomorrow to get it spiffed up.

Wednesday, December 12, 2007:

Today I created a quiz on  Arthrobacter globiformis. I am trying to provide as much extra credit and extra information about Arthrobacter Globiformis. I am really working hard to get a good grade on this website.

Thursday, December 13, 2007:

Today I worked on my website during my free period and after school in the library. Grace and I are really trying and sort of starting to stress out about this project.

Friday, December 14, 2007:

We are working on our ubber cool website today in class. Grace and I are finalizing our notes, journal, pictures, and bibiliography to make our website as good as possible. We will be adding a combined notes page and getting our website organized.

Saturday, December 15, 2007:

Today I am trying to get everything set for turing our website in tomorrow. I am making sure that everything works and that all of our links go to the correct pages. I am also making sure that my notes make sense when you read them and making sure that the information is correct and that I have everything I need for my part. I am also working on getting more extra things and activities added onto the website. I hope to be proud of my final draft by tonight.

Sunday, December 16, 2007:

Today I will be e-mailing Mrs. Jansen and Mrs. Ramsussen our website. I am putting final touches on everything and making sure that everything works. Grace and I are pretty confident about our project. I have been working on this project for a couple hours and making sure that everything is read-able and organized.
